Clearinghouse Intergovernmental Review Center

The Intergovernmental Review Center assists potential applicants for federal and/or State financial or nonfinancial assistance. It is the single point of contact for development projects within the State, and notifies stakeholders for comment and review of development proposals.

This website provides information about the Maryland Intergovernmental Review and Coordination (MIRC) process, including application forms, deadlines, etc. for the State of Maryland. Specific questions about a program should be directed to the approving and/or funding agency.

In Maryland, the process to evaluate a project for consistency with public policy is called the Maryland Intergovernmental Review and Coordination Process (MIRC). The State Clearinghouse serves as the single point of contact for development projects within the State, and notifies stakeholders for comment and review of development proposals.

Requirements may vary from state to state. Visitors from other states should contact their own Clearinghouse for their requirements. For Clearinghouse contact information for other states, refer to the SPOC list provided by the U.S. Office of Budget and Management.

The Intergovernmental Review Center does not award grants or any other financial assistance.
