Task
Force Chair Jon Laria opened the meeting at 12:15 p.m.
Mr. Laria noted
that all future meetings of the Task Force
will be held at MDP’s offices in Baltimore. The next
meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.
The March meeting was designed to give the Task Force an
opportunity to understand the county, municipal and State
perspective on growth and development. Panels assembled by
the Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) and the Maryland
Municipal League (MML) presented the unique viewpoint of
growth from counties and municipalities to the task force
members. Planning Secretary Richard Eberhart Hall followed
these by sharing the State’s perspective. The three
presentations were to answer a list 12 framing questions
posed by the Task Force. Click
