Eastern Shore Workshop: Data Sharing, Applications, Technical Assistance, and Development Capacity Analysis
This power point presentation was developed for the November 22nd Eastern Shore Workshop: Data Sharing, Applications, Technical Assistance, and Development Capacity Analysis. The key objective of this workshop was to open dialogue between MDP and local governments regarding the exchange of geographic data. The hope is that this exchange will provide state and local governments with data and analysis tools they need for effective planning and to further the goals of state initiatives (including Rural Legacy, Priority Funding Areas and Development Capacity); and to strive to improve coordination to eliminate duplication of work, insure accuracy, and to basically keep lines of communication open on geographic-related information.
